Design for the City of Paramount

Below are a few selected projects overseen from conceptualization to production. The overall goal of each project was to align with the City’s vision, mission, and values while producing creative that are engaging and informative for Paramount residents.

Branding Guidelines & Photography Standards

The City decided to create a branding guide to achieve and ensure consistency while protecting its identity/reputation.

As the Creative Director and Lead Designer for this project, the overall goal was to set visual standards and expectations to use across internal and external graphics.

Logofolio — logos for City events and programs

With the City’s various events and programs, I had the opportunity to spearhead two logos and oversee the design process from scratchy sketches to final production. It was an awesome experience working alongside the Communications squad and seeing the logos displayed for residents through various outlets.

The Tree Lighting logo was to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the City’s distinct yearly event. Merch items (ornament, coffee cup, and scarf) with a solid color version of the logo were made and given out to residents who attended the event.

With the beautification program’s comeback in 2023, the City requested a new logo for Pride of Paramount. It highlights Paramount residents from 5 categories for their pride of ownership and efforts at maintaining beautiful houses and businesses.

Selected print and digital work from the creative vault

Aside from creating logos for events, I was also able to tackle various projects in the print and digital realm. With each project, I served as a liaison between multiple departments for info and to ensure deadlines were met.

Projects include a shirt design, flyers, a banner design, print publications, and a custom City illustration.

The City’s Year In Review for 2023

Each year the City produces the Year In Review, which showcases and highlights their biggest achievements from the previous 12 months.

This past January, our Communications team put together a comprehensive 8-page printed booklet for residents. The brief emphasized an infographic style and layout.
